Rapropos

Let me introduce you to some interesting reading, once.
Yes, a book, right.

Rapropos is the title that journalit and attachée de presse Luca Gricinella choose to publish his work about the close relationships that occurs between french rap and its country.

A wordplay that literally could mean "about rap", but also a way to explore around and about the french hip hop and rap scene, with all kind of social and political connections, Rapropos, as Luca puts it down, is
"a picture of french society, from a strictly hip hop perspective, the rap culture being behind the objective of this imaginary camera. Very often, isn't unusual that in France many journalists, football players, actors, film makers, opinion leaders, comedians and so on, can cross their paths with rappers, for both bad or good purposes. Simply because rap and hip hop are deeply rooted into french culture, which has been affected since by urban messages and codes."

Nice points, actually. That's why different aspects are touched, starting from cult film La Haine the writer goes deep into late Eighties and early Nineties roots and crews, from Paris to Marseille, and back to the future of the culture.

You can cop it through the distributor, Agenzia X.
Out like au revoir.
