Introducing the drumline according to Daru Jones.
Here's a beatsmith from Michigan who actually lives...wonder where?
Yep, you've got it: Brooklyn, New York, the place to be, or so it seems, though.
After a long roll of releases through his own Rusic Records, and collabos with the likes of Kissey Asplund, Muhsinah and Eagle Nebula, just to name a few, the guy've just released a remix project that we've found enjoyable, to say the least.
It's a delicate and mix of groovy things and deep vibes, some electronic hints and analogic grunts, just name it soul-hop, that's what the cat is all about. Dig his catalog on bandcamp for more, and in the meanwhile play this.
That ain't revolutionary, maybe, but come on, that's damn good music.
Out like footsteps in the dark.
